$30-33/hr (contingent on experience)

Travel

3-4 weeks of travel per quarter

This position is in search of a skilled operator with extensive experience operating drones via Remote Control. The qualified candidate will act as an operations specialist assisting in the development and test of cutting-edge safety-related technologies. The role includes mission planning and lightweight maintenance duties. The candidate should demonstrate attention to detail, a safety-oriented attitude, flexibility, and enthusiasm for cutting-edge technology. This individual will also conduct limited operation readiness activities and logistics planning as needed.

IDEAL CANDIDATE EXPERIENCE:

Technical Skills

• Proficient in Linux commands and complex software.
• Aviation maintenance background is highly desirable.
• Experience in robotics or as a fully electrical engineer.
• Mechanically inclined.
• Familiar with technical manuals and QA processes.
• Experience with Dhawk and Jira for work input.
• Knowledge of Linux, Python, and Excel.

Behavioral Skills

• Adaptable and able to handle various tasks.
• Strong project management skills.
• Good communication skills for interacting with different stakeholders.

Experience

• Sr. AMP licensed mechanic with some software/Linux background.
• Experience running projects independently.
