About The Role

The Driver/Warehouse Associate will be responsible for driving a company vehicle throughout the Austin, TX geographic area and ensure safety of self and others while driving as well as for accurate receiving and storing of product to meet company standards of accuracy, attention to details, sanitation, safety, security and productivity.

What You'll Do

• Load/unload cargo
• Execute local deliveries and obtain authorization signatures
• Ensure the receipt, coordination, and safety of goods coming through the warehouse
• Ensure products are stocked correctly and safely
• Count all products, compare to packing slip/Warehouse Management System (WMS) and check all shipments for damage, quantity, part number accuracy and expiration dates.
• Report shortages, damages and mis-shipments (“shipment errors” or “incorrect shipments”) on appropriate forms. Sign for inbound shipments when necessary.
• Unload inbound shipments safely and move product to storage locations.
• Efficiently stack and store merchandise in pallet, static, cantilever, yard and wire storage areas/rack.
• Ensure that the correct number and type of product is picked in WMS.
• Transport orders to shipping locations or delivery platforms with material handling equipment. Bag, tag or mark orders as required.
• Maintain all equipment in a neat, clean and orderly fashion.
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently, while complying with OSHA and company standards.
• Assist in inventory accuracy and cycle counts. Ensure proper stock rotation. Preform aisle assessments and assignments.

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to pass a DOT Physical
• Minimum 1 Year Driving/Warehouse Experience
• Valid Driver's License with no driving violations in past 3 years
• Ability to climb and lift minimum 50lbs
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems preferred
• Fork-Lift Certification preferred
• Must be able to read, count accurately, do simple math (add, subtract, multiply, divide) and write legibly.
• Ability to follow directions with emphasis on safety
• Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
• Ability to be flexible
