Full Time Schedule: Early morning hours offering a great work/life balance:
- Monday - Friday: 5 AM - 1 PM
- Saturday: 7 AM - 12 PM

Taylorsville Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC), located in Taylorsville, UT, is part of Acadia Healthcare's Comprehensive Treatment Centers, the leading provider of medication-assisted treatment in the nation. Our mission is to provide full-circle care that includes a blend of therapies and the use of safe and effective medications. Our team is the front line of our fight against the opiate epidemic.
Our Mobile Unit:
We have expanded our treatment options in order to be able to provide much needed care for patients within the community. Our teams are equipped with counselors and dispensing nurses that the patients would need from our facility, but within our mobile unit to high-quality counseling and therapy to patients that are seeking recovery from Opioid Use Disorder. Our mobile team will travel to the Tooele, UT area and will serve as an expansion of our existing Taylorsville Comprehensive Treatment Center.
Your Job as an Driver:
The Driver will drive a Company vehicle to transport patients either to specified locations or drive our Mobile Van treatment unit to the specified treatment access destinations.
Your Responsibilities as a Driver:
- Drives company vehicles in a safe and conscientious manner complying with Company policies and procedures as well as State transportation laws.
- Interacts with staff and patients in a professional manner, reports any suspicious behavior to the Clinic Director and/or supervisors.
- Monitors parking area to ensure that no loitering or misconduct takes place, monitors the area to ensure safety and patient-compliance, and completes frequent sweeps around the entire unit.
- Drive mobile unit to destination as scheduled and timely.
- Assist patients as they get into and out of the vehicle.
- Operate wheelchair lifts as needed when applicable.
- Report traffic delays enroute back to supervisor.
- Report any incidents or accidents to supervisor.
- Complete daily visual of vehicle before and after each trip and to report any problems in writing.
- Check the vehicle to ensure there is an appropriate amount of fuel in the tank prior to leaving the facility. Vehicles should not arrive at the deployed site with less than 1/3 of the tank full.
- Maintain accurate logbooks, as required including weekly, quarterly, and annual maintenance checks.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness, interiors are to be kept clean and disinfected at all times. Upon return to the Clinic, all trash should be removed from the vehicle.
- Schedule, organize and coordinate vehicle maintenance and repair service shop appointments.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Your Education, Skills and Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
- Clean driving record with no points
- Must have clear understanding of automobiles and maintenance; handyman or security skills are a big plus!
- Must be comfortable with working in an opioid treatment/recovery environment
Licenses/Certifications:
- Required: Valid Driver's License in the state of Utah
- Preferred: First Aid/CPR certification
