1st Shift, Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
The safety of our employees and everyone we come in contact with are core values at GXO. Under the supervision of the Fleet Programs Manager, the Driver Compliance Specialist, is responsible for overseeing aspects of Department of Transportation (DOT) compliance. You will work directly with the Fleet Safety and Compliance teams, field Operations leadership teams, and Drivers to ensure compliance with DOT requirements and the safety of all GXO DOT drivers and non-DOT yard hostlers.

What you'll do on a typical day:
- Provide administrative support to ensure safety and Compliance with DOT requirements
- Monitor compliance with hours of service (HOS) requirements
- Collect and review roadside inspection reports
- Update and maintain DOT files
- Process invoices for drug and alcohol testing and DOT physicals
- Participate in the qualification and approval of driver candidates
- Maintain and update driver data base systems to reflect changes in driver status
- Prepare and maintain daily paperwork including DOT files to ensure confidentiality, accuracy and timeliness
- Verify, coordinate and schedule training
- Basic office/clerical work such as filing, scanning and uploading of various documents
At a minimum, you'll need:
- 1 year of related experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- 3 years of experience with DOT compliance and safety
- Experience with Samsara, Omnitracs and/or Tenstreet is a plus
- Self-motivated and able to work well independently or in a team environment
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidential and sensitive materials and information
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Solid attention to detail and follow-up skills with the ability to identify and resolve problems
