• Hourly payrate: $ 27.75 starting payrate, after probation (90 days) $28.75, after 1 year $30.35.

• The position you have applied for is represented by a labor union.
• Vacation relief position. Every Monday and Wednesday (2 days a week – approximately 20 hours weekly), in addition to all vacation relief (M-F, 40 – 50 hour weeks).
• Starting time between 12 am and 3 am (9 to 10 hours per shift)
• Principal location: 110 S Bertelsen Rd, Eugene, OR 97402
• Delivering interstate:  Oregon and California (for vacation relief)
• Overnight routes include hotel and food stipend

• Ensure compliance with procedures and regular safety checks of your equipment (tractor, trailer, pallet jack, etc.) to always guarantee safety. 
• Completes daily field service activities, including preparing receipts, truck logs, and maintenance records. 
• Performs all duties as scheduled by Route Manager or Dispatch. 

• Must have a CDL-Class A license and having at least one year of proven safe driving experience. (Adjusted to the license requested to the role)
• Preferred direct store delivery experience (DSD). 
• You must successfully pass our drug test, MVR, and background check.
• FMCSA's Clearinghouse Registration required. Link to get started provided: FMSCA.

• Customer-oriented attitude, providing excellent support to key customers as. (Add key customers based on CSL site summary document) 
• Minimum one year of safe driving experience with no serious driving convictions. DOT requirement to check the last 10 years.
• Familiarity with Occupational and Safety Health Act (OSHA) and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, as well as local, state, and federal requirements.
• Basic understanding of temperature-controlled food transportation.
• Proficiency in using a smart phone or tablet and electronic logging device (ELD) for logging positions and driving times. Able to use a scanner and log deliveries.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing routes and working schedules.
• General knowledge of vehicle mechanics to communicate problems and perform basic repairs if needed.
• Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions and varying temperatures.
