Job Details
We are looking for an experienced industrial drafter to prepare field and shop drawings.
Typical responsibilities include:
- Performing site visits to determine existing conditions and record them in AutoCAD to use as a starting template for new work
- Support estimating team by creating drawings to show general arrangement and location of proposed work
- Create concrete, structural steel, equipment arrangement and any other drawings needed by field services or fabrication team
- Check drawings of other designers for accuracy and completion
Job Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in drafting, industrial/millwork experience highly desired
- Experience with AutoCAD required
- Experience with other programs like Tekla, Fabtrol very helpful
- Communication and basic math skills required
