Draft Service Technician (DST)
The Draft Service Technician (DST) with Glacier Design is responsible for servicing draft beer equipment. Candidates for this position can expect it to be very hands-on and mechanically based, but we will provide you with all the ongoing training, tools, and resources you need to be successful!
Strong customer service skills are expected in this position as employees communicate with customers directly regarding assigned installations, timelines, route coverage, etc.
Glacier Design is an affiliated company with A Head for Profits (AHFP).
Position Requirements
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Working knowledge of draft beer systems (preferred but not required)
- Mechanically/technically inclined (preferred but not required)
- Be results-driven and self-motivated
- Cicerone certification is required of all current Glacier/AHFP employees
Position Responsibilities
- Assist with route coverage when needed including AM accounts and venues.
- Carry out quarterly preventive maintenance (PM) contracts
- Attend the necessary facilities to become Micro Matic certified if requested.
- Attend, as assigned, all other training deemed necessary by Glacier/AHFP.
- Work with and provide training to other employees
- Maintain effective and professional working relationships with assigned accounts, sales representatives, and draft tech department personnel
- Effectively manage all equipment to include care and maintenance and inventory of assigned equipment and tools

Starting Salary
- Up to $20.00/hr + commission + monthly and quarterly bonus opportunities
Education / Experience
- 3 years in related industries
- Strong experiences in draft beer industry preferred
Travel
- Travel may be required as a part of this position. Travel will encompass Glacier's regional footprint and is usually limited to weekdays.
Transportation
- Personal and reliable vehicle required (company gas card provided)
- Proof of minimum insurance required - Glacier provides monthly reimbursement for the cost of increasing your current insurance coverage to our required minimums.

Working Hours
Standard working hours are Monday - Friday 7:30 am - 4:30 pm. Hours may vary and may require evening and weekend work depending on business needs
