Pizza King's Dough Room General Managers in Training must be adaptable, self-motivated, and have a passion for product quality. Dough Room General Manager in Training Requirements:
- 18+ years of age.
- Maintain a valid driver's license.
- Acceptable driving record.
- 1 year of management experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Systems & Software – proficient level knowledge of Google software applications.
Dough Room General Manager in Training Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Job:
- Verifies dough quality is at the highest quality that is received by restaurant locations and served to the customers.
- Check for a safe work experience environment by facilitating safe work behaviors for the team.
- Ensures that food safety standards are met in the store through direct observation and follow up on food safety with team members.
People:
- Organize and oversee the time spent on the job for yourself and all employees.
- Maintain a positive attitude and must lead by example.
- Maintain a sense of urgency in all aspects of the operation.
- Promote teamwork & cross-training from all employees.
- Administer prompt, fair, and consistent corrective action for any and all violations of company policies, rules, and procedures.
- Setting priorities, managing details, carrying out effective coaching, and providing recognition; working early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
- Verifying that the maintenance of the equipment, facility, and grounds are being maintained to company standards and that all equipment is functioning properly. Coordinate with the Operations Administrator if a problem exists.
- Maintain prescribed opening and closing hours for stores along with following all security measures.
- Hires, trains, and develops team members & future management personnel to their highest potential.
Store's Performance: (once fully and solely operating a restaurant location)
- Analyzes labor, inventory, and controllables on a continual basis.
- Complete regularly scheduled inventories and order accordingly.
- Guard against product unavailability by maintaining adequate inventory levels.
- Maintaining contact with the bookkeeper, HR, and operations team.
- Responsible for all employee scheduling and payroll.
- Ensures the store is organized, maintained, and running efficiently.
- Maintain established food and labor costs.
Other:
- Ensures the store is in compliance with Federal/State/Local requirements.
- Following and enforcing recipes to maintain a consistent product and nutritional value.
- Maintain food safety requirements along with customer and employee safety.
- Maintain appearance and cleanliness in all aspects of your operation by following established cleaning lists.
- Coordinate all phases of your operation through correction, direction, and follow-up.
- Maintain awareness in all areas of your operation.
- Attend all designated staff meetings and training sessions.
- Maintain constant communication with the Operations Administrator.
- Expect additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Work stations throughout shift: 1. Batches, 2. Cut & Ball, 3. Sheeting, 4. Stacking, 5. Dough Pulls.
Physical Requirements:
- Able to work in a standing and walking position with frequent changes between positions.
- Able to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
- Willing and able to deliver in inclement weather.
- Able to be on your feet for extended periods of time.
- Attendance at work is required.
Reports To:
- Operations Administrator or District Manager.
