McKinley Equipment Service Technician - Commercial Doors and Loading Docks

JOB DESCRIPTION:
As a full-time McKinley Service Technician, you are responsible for the most important part of our company; servicing our customers’ material handling equipment needs. You will diagnose and repair service material handling systems including, commercial doors, security grilles, industrial lifts, balers, and warehouse equipment to dealership and manufacturer's specifications with minimal supervision. Ability to read and understand job orders to thoroughly and accurately complete the scope of work. Participation in an on-call rotation is required. Other duties as required. A company work vehicle is provided therefore, a clean driving record is necessary.

Qualifications:
- All job offers are contingent upon a negative drug screen test.
- Clean DMV record required (Validated by HR before job offer).
- Two (2) years of industry experience (Commercial Loading Docks & Doors). OR is strong in mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Highly organized, punctual, and reliable.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Physically fit for lifting and moving equipment (up to 60 lbs.).
- Ability to successfully prioritize and meet customer needs.
- Expert troubleshooter & problem-solver.
- Sense of urgency and self-motivation; (ability to work independently).
- Can learn new technologies quickly (iPads/phones/computers).
- Contribute to team effort by performing additional duties as requested.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- COVID-19 considerations: We follow all CDC and Cal OSHA guidelines.
Preferred Skills:
- Welding.
- Hydraulics.
- Mechanical.
- Electrical & schematics.
- Pneumatics.
- Comfortable working with iPad.
- Forklift driving experience.

SCHEDULE & TRAVEL:
- Shifts will vary based on business needs (likely Monday-Friday 6:00 am-3:00 pm.)
