About the Job
Project Partners is seeking an experienced Document Manager with 10+ years of experience to assist our public client in the Trabuco Canyon area. The position will be on-site and part-time (approximately 10 hours per week).
The Document Manager duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Develop and maintain a document system and procedures to ensure efficient and effective document control process.
- Implement and manage the document control system, including document numbering, processing, distribution, and archiving.
- Train employees in the use of the document management system and procedures.
- Ensure that all documentation complies with regulatory, legal, and quality requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that documents are reviewed, approved, and released on schedule.
- Organize and maintain a central repository of documents, ensuring that documents are easily accessible and retrievable.
- Ensure that all documents are properly labeled, indexed, and filed in a timely manner.

The Document Manager will have:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a relevant field is desired, or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in document control or related field
- Experience managing a document management system, including document numbering, processing, distribution, and archiving in the public sector
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work permanently in the U.S. (i.e., without time limitations, without restrictions or without need for work sponsorship in the U.S.)
- Valid CA Driver’s License and proof of insurance
