Job Description:
Our client is seeking a Document Control Specialist who will be responsible for supporting Document Control activities. The Document Control Specialist will review and format a variety of documents in accordance with agreed timelines and in adherence with format, content, and style guidelines, considering usability and ensuring accuracy, consistency, and quality. The Document Control Specialist will handle multiple projects at one time, delivering high quality documentation. The Document Control Specialist will participate independently and in team projects.
Qualifications:
- A High School diploma or equivalent is required (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree is preferred).
- Extremely organized and detail-oriented professional with excellent proofreading skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Good computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office (i.e., Word and Excel), Google Suite, and Adobe Acrobat Professional.
- Self-motivated with an ability to handle, organize, and prioritize multiple tasks with the ability to perform under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Ability to follow written instructions and procedures.
- Ability to work independently under limited supervision and escalate issues as appropriate.
- Understanding of scientific principles and technical writing is preferred.
- Knowledge and understanding of the Change Control Process is preferred.
- Knowledge of Quality Assurance principles (i.e., ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and FDA cGMP regulations) is preferred.
