The Green Tech District Sales Manager provides leadership to sales teams and service technicians in an assigned territory to achieve regional sales and profit goals.

What you’ll do:

• Develop project specifications with system designers (landscape architects, irrigation consultants, engineers, and design/build contractors) to achieve pull-through sales
• Sell company products and services in an assigned territory to end-users, specifiers, design/build contractors, and distributors to achieve the regional sales and profit goals
• Provide direction and support to the service technicians
• Conduct product demonstrations for potential customers
• Prepare project equipment and pricing proposals
• Provide initial controller programming instruction and organize the initial software training for
• customers
• Maintain and update all project files on a quarterly basis

• 4 to 7 years of experience in field sales and/or product support experience and management of accounts locally, regionally, or nationally
• 1 to 3 years of experience in landscape architecture
• Knowledge of irrigation products and practices and relevant technologies (including, but not limited to, GPS, guidance sensors, remote sensing, or other automation forms), as well as ability to understand and perform calculations from irrigation designs
• Demonstrated sales and marketing skills and working knowledge of advertising, promotions, research, and Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
• Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office plus intranet and internet functions
• Degree in a Business/Management discipline or Accounting/Finance discipline, or equivalent experience
