To reward their teams' efforts, EnerSys offers the following for all our open district sales manager positions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Consistently exceed your sales quota by retaining, growing, and prospecting clients within your account territory as well as national accounts.
Use product knowledge in conjunction with knowledge of customers' project objectives to develop unique value propositions supported by nancial impact analysis and feasibility studies.
Use Salesforce for customer relationship management activities.
Create, maintain, and enhance relationships with key personnel for product development and sales.
A drive for self-education and learning new products, services, and business processes.
Other activities include proposals, pricing, presentations, forecasting, program management, and other duties as required.
Identify the right customer stakeholders and build connections quickly to drive consensus for deals; works cooperatively with wide range of internal stakeholders for deal success.
Independently and collaboratively strategize for solving deal-level challenges.
All other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
3+ years of sales experience or relatable industry experience
Bachelor's degree or significant industry experience
Driving Qualifications:
Must have a valid driver's license and a safe driving record with minimal trac violations.
Must be 21 years of age to drive a company vehicle.
Able and willing to travel to customer sites.
Able and willing to do overnight travel up to 50% of the time.
Preferred Qualications:
Specific industry sales experience is a plus, especially a proven track record of success selling advanced battery chemistries.

Must be able and willing to do overnight travel
This position requires you to drive a company vehicle. Therefore, you must be able to pass the company's driving requirements. Certain vehicles may also require a specific drivers license and have additional driving requirements.
Must be able to stand for long periods of time
Must be able to frequently bend; twist; reach; stoop; kneel or crouch.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds/23 kilos on a daily continuous basis. Anything heavier will be done with the assistance of a mechanical device or with the assistance of another employee.
Employees are responsible for wearing the required Personal Protective Equipment in the proper manner at all times.
This position is exposed to harmful materials such as lead/fiberglass products. Periodic blood tests are required to measure the level of lead. Precautions are taken by the company/employee to reduce the risk of exposure and help ensure everyones safety.
Risk of electrical shock.
This position requires working in a plant/warehouse environment. Therefore, expect varying working conditions.
