The District Manager (DM) is a strategic field leadership role responsible for overseeing the performance, operations, and customer experience across 11–18 stores within a designated district. As a natural teacher and coach, the DM collaborates closely with Store Managers, regional leadership, and cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences while achieving company goals and key performance indicators (KPIs). Serving as a functional expert, the DM provides guidance on all aspects of store operations, ensuring consistent execution of company strategies and fostering a high-performance culture focused on talent development, associate engagement, and operational excellence.
This role requires collaboration and expertise in recruiting, hiring, training, merchandising, customer service, and technology optimization. By leveraging business acumen and data-driven insights, the DM adapts strategies to drive results, maintain consistency, and support the brand’s enterprise vision. The ultimate goal is to lead and empower teams to deliver outstanding in-store experience while ensuring accountability, collaboration, and alignment with company objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Drive an exceptional customer experience by elevating selling behaviors, meeting customer needs through all product channels, and fostering a high-performance culture.
- Enhance brand loyalty by empowering team to create a natural and personable experience for customers.
- Coach and empower Store Managers to execute company initiatives, optimize operations, and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Recruit, develop, and maintain a strong pipeline of talent, ensuring teams are equipped to deliver a best-in-class experience.
- Provide consistent coaching, guidance, and accountability to Store Managers to inspire and develop their teams.
- Manage labor resources effectively, flexing to maximize productivity and minimize disruptions across the district.
- Balance shifting priorities and ensure seamless communication between customer-facing associates and support teams.
- Analyze KPI trends to identify performance opportunities and implement actionable solutions to drive growth.
- Leverage local market insights to maintain a competitive edge and adapt strategies to improve business performance.
- Build collaborative relationships with peers and cross-functional partners to share expertise and execute district and enterprise strategies.
- Serve as a functional expert and role model, ensuring operational excellence and consistency in execution across the district.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple high-volume store teams, partner cross-functionally, and operate effectively in strategic markets.
- Ability to embrace challenges, learn quickly, influence change, and lead execution of initiatives through others while managing competing priorities.
- Proven ability to lead and develop teams, with a strong track record of empowering others to achieve results.

The annual salary starting at a base of $100,000. Salary will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
