Responsibilities: Essential Duties
- Supervises activities related to the development and management of an organization's supply chain.
- Oversees the work of a team that coordinated the movement of raw materials, in process goods or completed merchandise
- Administers strategies meant to optimize organizational inventory levels and support organizational business objectives.
- Maintains contact with vendors and submits purchase orders or requisitions in order to ensure a continuous supply of goods.
- Forecasts demand or predicts inventory needs based on analysis of historical data.
- Uses working knowledge of the field's policies, procedures and practices.
- Responsible for department safety and training.
- Leads and directs the work of other employees.
- Typically has some authority for personnel decisions related to hiring, performance or disciplinary actions

- Provides direct or indirect supervision to a group of employees, assigning tasks and checking work at frequent intervals. Accountabilities include work and people scheduling, performance management and recommendations for hiring decisions.
- Judgement is required in resolving all day-to-day problems.
- Contacts are primarily with department supervisors, leads, subordinates, and peers. Frequent contact with external contractors/vendors.

Required:
Bachelor's degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
04-06 years related experience required.
- Applicable industry/professional certification preferred.
- Ability to work non-standard schedule as needed
