Job Title: Distribution Engineer
Job Description
We are currently sourcing for Distribution Engineers to support our client in Houston, Texas. Qualified candidates should have a minimum of 2+ years of experience utilizing DDS (Distribution Design Studio) and 3+ years of experience working as a distribution design engineer supporting joint use or make ready projects.
Responsibilities
+ Utilize DDS (Distribution Design Studio) for engineering tasks.
+ Support joint use or make ready projects.
+ Perform power distribution and electrical design.
+ Draft designs using AutoCAD and Microstation.
+ Collaborate on power delivery and utility design projects.
Essential Skills
+ 2+ years of experience with DDS (Distribution Design Studio).
+ 3+ years of experience in distribution design engineering.
+ Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
+ Experience with AutoCAD and Microstation.
+ Strong experience in power distribution and electrical design.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with AEP Texas is ideal; AEP general experience is also acceptable.
+ Experience with Centerpoint, CPS, or First Energy is a plus.
+ Knowledge of power delivery, design, distribution, and transmission lines.
Work Environment
The position offers an office environment with a hybrid schedule for those in Houston, working 4 days in the office and 1 day from home. If working remotely, candidates need to have AEP and DDS experience. Standard office hours are 40 hours per week.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $38.00
