Description/Comment:

• Pull customer sales orders from finished goods inventory in a timely manner.
• Ensure all finished goods are stored in the proper inventory locations in the warehouse. Monitor and maintain an accurate and up-to-date inventory. Put away finished goods into their respective warehouse locations.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Put all finished goods into inventory as per its assigned locations (HPLC, GC, SPE, and accessories).
• Pull Domestic, International, and subsidiary sales orders from inventory. Perform inventory transactions on the computer ERP system.
• Maintain 99% or better inventory accuracy. Maintain FIFO system in HPLC, GC, and SPE finished goods to ensure inventory is accurate and properly rotated. Work with other department associates as needed to ensure all OTD orders ship same day. Maintain superior teamwork effort and attitude. Work in a safe manner adhering to all Phenomenex policies.
• Follow all company rules, policies, and regulations. Keep warehouse area clean, neat and organized at all times. Perform other job-related duties as requested by customers and/ or management. Will be handling chemicals and biologicals but not hazardous waste or radiation.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) in General Education preferred.
• Ensures all work is accurate and free of errors / defects. General clerical methods, principles and practices. Attention to detail, pay specific attention to all assigned tasks. Strong organizational skill, plans and assigns resources in a detailed fashion.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Work is performed primarily indoors in an office, laboratory, or warehouse setting; wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions. The noise level in the work environment is typically low to moderate; higher level of noise may be prevalent in laboratories or warehouse settings. While performing the duties of this position, the employee may be required to travel or work necessary overtime.

SAFETY:

• Assists in the creation of a culture of safety and environmental protection by performing work safely in accordance with company and departmental safety procedures.
• Employee may be exposed to hazards or hazardous materials requiring use of personal protective equipment to prevent exposure. Operates equipment safely and reports any unsafe work conditions or practice to supervisor. If there is an accident or near miss, they must report it to their supervisor immediately

The hourly rate range for this position is $18/ hour, -W2 without benefits
