Responsibilities:About the Role:

The Distinguished Principal - HR/Finance Domain Architect is laser-focused on guiding the architectural direction of our HR and finance platforms and solutions, leveraging modern technology to deliver superior customer experiences which help to maintain industry-leading customer satisfaction. In this role, you will:
- Provide significant input into technology strategy and road-map; keep up to date on key technology trends and their applied use by in financial services with emphasis on financial systems and solutions and interact with various business partners (both internal and external) to assist in the design and implementation of business applications leveraging architectural standards.
- Advise teams of application and solution architects focused on delivery of finance and HR applications and act as a mentor providing guidance to all team members on technical and architectural issues.
- Participate in the development and maintenance of architectural standards company wide, including patterns, reference architectures, and best practices and ensure adherence to architectural governance routines.
- Perform other duties as assigned and conform with all company policies and procedures.
- Possess strong knowledge of IT operations and support organizations and experience with Design Tools and advanced technical writing.
Reporting Relationship
- Reports to: SVP Global Chief Architect
Direct Reports: Dotted line to all Solution Architects aligned to finance and HR globally

- Advanced knowledge of software design and modeling, and associated tools
- Advanced knowledge of current application design patterns (e.g. micro-services, API, etc.)
- Advanced knowledge of designing applications for global markets
- Ability to thoroughly understand leaders’ perspectives, develop consensus and confidently communicate final recommendations and decisions with credibility

Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer, Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience required
- Master’s Degree preferred.
- 14+ years in related function(s) required
- 7-10 years leading through mentorship in related field required
- 7-10 years driving thought leadership and innovation across products required
- Experience with Oracle HCM Cloud, Oracle Cloud Financials and Oracle Integration Cloud
- 5+ years architecting solutions in multi-cloud/hybrid-cloud environments required
- 7+ years architecting Oracle-driven HR and financial solutions
- 8+ years working in a highly regulated business domain such as financial services or health care strongly preferred
