The Dispensing Supervisor oversees the dispensing department within a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility. This is an opportunity to join the East Windsor, NJ facility team. The position is 2nd shift Monday through Friday from 4:00 pm to 12:00 am.

About the Role
The Dispensing Supervisor oversees the dispensing department within a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility. This is an opportunity to join the East Windsor, NJ facility team. The position is 2nd shift Monday through Friday from 4:00 pm to 12:00 am.
Responsibilities:
- Supervision and Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of dispensing operators and technicians.
- Provide guidance and support to team members, ensuring productivity and adherence to safety protocols.
- Production Planning and Scheduling:
- Develop production schedules and ensure timely execution of dispensing activities to meet production targets.
- Coordinate with other departments to optimize workflow and resource utilization.
- Equipment Maintenance and Calibration:
- Oversee the maintenance and calibration of dispensing equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Quality Assurance:
- Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure product integrity and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of production activities, equipment maintenance, and quality control measures.
- Prepare reports for management review, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements within the dispensing department.
- Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly.
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with dispensing in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry is required.
- Two years of experience in a leadership position supervising employees is required.
- Must be able to work the 2nd shift Monday through Friday, 4:00 pm to 12:00 am.
- Proficiency in GMP and regulatory requirements.
