Dispatcher - Texstar

A successful Dispatcher shall communicate with field workers, customers, and homeowners, providing information necessary to complete the field work. This includes but is not limited to providing support with troubleshooting, providing “as-builds”, directions to a location, and plant fiber information.

The Dispatcher will receive close-out information from the field and input the work information into various databases to fully close out each location. Efficiency and accuracy in transferring this information into databases are paramount for a Dispatcher's success.

What you’ll do…

• Completion of high-level tasks in support of an assigned department/project
• Receive, organize, file, and maintain documents and/or data for an assigned department/project
• Maintain and update various databases
• Communicate with employees, contractors, vendors, and/or customers to assist assigned department/project
• Read, interpret, and input data in support of an assigned department/project
• Additional duties as assigned

Who we are looking for….

• 2 years of related work experience
• Proficient in the use of office hardware and software. (PCs, Tablets, Printers, Copiers, Microsoft, Google, etc.)
• Excellent Customer Service skills and strong English language skills both oral and written.
• Work safely, with or without supervision
• Read, understand, interpret, input and analyze data with a high degree of accuracy and completeness
• Excellent manual dexterity
• Ability to organize workload to determine priority of duties
• Communicate with Company personnel, customers, and contractors to ensure tasks are completed
• Function effectively in a high-stress situation

Workplace Environment and Physical Demands:

• Aability to sit for long periods of time, while using repetitive and/or fine hand movements to complete computer related tasks and/or other office functions.
• Work is performed indoors and in a typical office environment.
