In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating the scheduling and dispatching of our Logistics field crews. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our designers and customers receive their install crews and deliveries in a timely and efficient manner. Your exceptional organizational skills and ability to communicate effectively will be essential in managing delivery schedules, optimizing routes, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Requirements
To be successful as a Dispatcher at Vesta Home, you should have proven experience in scheduling and dispatching, as well as excellent communication and multitasking abilities.
- Coordinate the scheduling and dispatching of install/delivery teams to ensure timely and efficient crew arrivals.
- Optimize delivery routes to minimize travel time and maximize productivity.
- Communicate with Logistics teams to provide necessary instructions, updates, and address any issues or concerns.
- Respond to internal or external customer inquiries related to delivery schedules, tracking, and order updates in a professional and timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of delivery schedules, routes, and customer interactions.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure the availability of products for scheduled deliveries.
- Monitor delivery progress and address any delays or unexpected situations that may arise.
- Utilize GPS tracking software systems and other tools to track and monitor delivery teams.
- Adhere to company policies and guidelines regarding scheduling, dispatching, and customer service.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a scheduler or dispatcher, preferably in the furniture or logistics industry.
- Knowledge of relevant GPS tracking software systems.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Sound judgement and problem-solving capabilities.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
This is an in-person position located in Pico Rivera, CA. Must have availability Mon-Fri during standard working hours (7am-4:30pm) with an occasional need outside those hours.
Compensation for this position ranges between $22.00-$26.00/hr, depending on experience.
