Dispatcher for Crane - Eastland Crane & Towing

Eastland Crane & Towing is looking for a Dispatcher to take incoming orders, determine the scope of the job, coordinate and dispatch workers and the appropriate equipment for each job.  This is a first shift schedule - 8 AM to 4 PM Monday through Friday.

Job Description:

• Take incoming towing requests and determine the right vehicle/equipment needed
• Take incoming crane orders and determine the right crane for the job
• Provide quotes/pricing for orders and requests
• Schedule, dispatch and monitor jobs to ensure each job is completed according to requirements
• Order crane permits where needed
• Track and log all activity during shift

Skills / Requirements:

• Dispatcher experience required; experience dispatching cranes, towing, and heavy equipment a PLUS
• Great geographical knowledge of the Columbus area
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• High school degree required
• Excellent communication skills including accurately communicating with clients on the phone
• Excellent writing skills including the ability to accurately take complex orders
• Great with numbers and able to calculate/determine complex orders when needed
• Personable and friendly
