Fair Logistics was founded in 2007 and started in Birmingham, Alabama with a focus in medical device logistics. This focus allowed us to learn the medical device supply chain to the extent our goal quickly became to be an indistinguishable extension of our clients. As we grew our footprint and expanded further in the healthcare industry, it became evident that we could provide our services to more than just medical device distributors and we quickly grew into the medical delivery field specializing in Orthopedics and surgical kits. This organic growth has created a strong base for our company to provide consistent, reliable, and cost-effective delivery solutions to our clients across the country.

POSITION SUMMARY

Dispatchers coordinate and communicate vital information, such as customer orders, service requests, and emergency alerts. They facilitate the deployment of appropriate assets, such as trucks for delivery and pickup of goods.

In the dispatcher role, you will take calls, schedule dispatches, and assign loads, map locations, and direct routes. You will be expected to enforce strict adherence to standard protocols and applicable rules and regulations. Success in this role will be demonstrated by determining efficient and economical routes and modes of transportation to send immediate responses and maximize productivity.

Dispatcher Job Duties:

• Prepares and updates field units and route schedules
• Logs calls and service requests
• Monitors and maintains multi-line communication systems
• Organizes deployment strategy based on field personnel and urgency of requests
• Utilizes computer-aided dispatch systems
• Records accurate information such as location and time
• Determines, monitors, and ensures the availability of units to dispatch.

SHIFT DAYS & TIMES

The following shifts are available:

Mon-Fri | 8:00a to 5:00p | Hour Lunch | *No Weekends*

PAY STRUCTURE

$22.00-$23.00 per hour (W-2 with no benefits)

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Must live in Roanoke, VA or a surrounding area.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must have a fully functioning smartphone.
• Must have a High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Must maintain professionalism in all settings and keep a clean appearance.
• Must be on time and reliable.
• Must be attentive to details.
• Must be self-motivated and self-starter.
• Must have excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
