Joe Hillman Plumbers, Inc. is currently hiring for a full-time Dispatch Services Rep / Customer Service Assistant to provide exceptional customer service while dispatching our plumbing crew in the Davie, FL area. This office position earns a competitive wage of $20 - $24/hour depending on experience and works 7 am - 4 pm, with a 1 hour lunch, and on-call after hours/weekends on a rotating schedule. REQUIREMENTS FOR A DISPATCH SERVICES REP / CUSTOMER SERVICE ASSISTANT
While dispatching plumbing services, your demeanor is friendly and confident. You easily converse with clients on the phone and dispatch calls to technicians. Your primary goal is to ensure ultimate scheduling efficiency. Working hard to ensure that customer service expectations are not only met but exceeded, you maximize technicians' time and mileage.
The majority of your workday is spent in the office either on the phone or computer where you thrive in a fast-paced office environment. You inform clients of arrival times or any potential delays, and adjust for any rescheduling needs as conflicts arise. Company success is due in part to your skills and abilities! - High school diploma, GED, or equivalent - related experience and/or advanced training or any equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted
- 2 or more years of dispatch experience
- Customer service, dispatch, and/or service line experienced desired
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Bilingual a plus
- Can work in a fast-paced environment, self-motivated to provide exceptional customer care while interacting with customers by phone, directing technicians by radio and tracking
- Open to receiving constant coaching and feedback
- Active in working to meet/exceed set goals
- Previous experience gathering data information and inputting the information in the computer
- Basic knowledge of office machinery and proficient computer use
- Knowledge of the geographical territory
- Familiarity with the plumbing trade would be a plus, but we will train the right person!
