Title: Dishwasher
Reports to: Direct –Kitchen Manager
Secondary – General Manager
Overall Responsibilities:
Your role as a Dishwasher is extremely important to Amici. Your speed and efficiency are imperative to the smooth operation of customer service. You have a major role in and responsibility for the quick overturn of tables. Your efficiency and cleanliness will help assure 100% guest satisfaction, both are essential to keep our customers coming back.

JOB GUIDELINES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Ø Ensure the cleanliness of every dish, pot, pan, piece of silverware, and glass that goes to the kitchen and our guest.
Ø Ensure that the dish machine is operating at correct temperatures in all cycles.
Ø Ensure that the proper detergents and levels of detergents are being used in the dish machine and pot washing sinks.
Ø Ensure that the proper chemicals are being used when cleaning walls, countertops, and floors.
Ø Abide by all Amici and Serv-Safe safety and cleaning policies and procedures.
Ø Maintain a small wares management program in the dish area. Controlling unnecessary disposal of but not limited to pots, pans, knives, forks, spoons, measuring cups, dishes, bowls, and glasses.
Ø Maintain safe, clean, and organized walk ways in the kitchen
Ø Assist kitchen with prep work during off peak times.
Ø Ensure the cleaning of but not limited to the dish area, kitchen floor, employee restrooms, employee break areas, and storage areas at all times.
Ø Must arrive to work on time.
Ø Have a positive attitude.

Minimum Qualifications
Ø Able to work in a hot, wet, humid, and loud environment for long periods of time.
Ø Able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 5 hours)
Ø Able to lift, reach, bend and stoop
Ø Able to safely lift bags, cases and stacks weighing up to 60 pounds up to 30 times per shift.
