Dishwasher - Pelican Golf

Dish Washer / Prep Cook is an Entry-level position under the supervision of the Executive Chef and Sous Chef.

• A kitchen steward maintains an establishment's kitchen and surrounding areas, keeping them clean and sanitary. Your duties include maintaining a cleaning schedule for the kitchen, cleaning the stoves, ovens, pots, pans, grills, and refrigerators, and washing dishes, glasses, and cutlery.
• A Prep Cook, plates dishes and completes basic food prepping tasks for the restaurant. Your main duties include preparing and cooking food in a specific station, cleaning up prep areas, and making sure the kitchen is stocked.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Wash and sanitize all dishes and store properly. Assists with the cleaning, sanitation, and organization of the kitchen, walk-in coolers, and all storage areas.
• Responsible for the cleanliness of the kitchen floors, shelves, work surfaces, and trash throughout your shift.
• Assist other team members with trash and overall cleanliness of the Club

• Performs additional responsibilities as requested by the Chef or Sous Chef.

• Ensures that food is properly stored.
• Change the dish machine every 2-3 hours depending on business.
• Break cardboard boxes down before putting in the dumpster.
• Assist in the weekly deep cleaning of the kitchen.
• Able to safely lift, control, and manage 50 lbs of weight.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 per hour
