The Disaster Recovery & Cyber Resilience Analyst - Associatewill assist in the development, implementation, and testing of disaster recoveryand cyber resilience strategies, ensuring the resilience of our organizationscritical systems.Candidates willbe trained to become a key player in promoting resilience efforts and be assigned tasks supporting improvement initiatives for disaster recovery processes and plans.Includes analysis of business and user processes, documenting disaster recovery requirements, and applying project management skillsets. Guides and collaborates with other subject matter experts (SME) from multiple departments to ensure continuity and consistency of disaster recovery processes across the health system.
Essential Job Functions
- Evaluate most business implications of technology in the current business environment
- Analyze business and user needs and assist in formulating and defining systems recovery scope and objectives
- Document requirements for business process and application recoveryprocedures
- Assist in the creation, testing, and maintenance of disaster recovery plans for critical systems and applications
- Support disaster recovery drills and exercises to evaluate the effectiveness of recovery strategies
- Assist with the project management tasks involved with managing disaster recovery initiatives
Required Qualifications
- General understanding of information systems concepts and terminology
- Ability and commitment to meet deadlines and to operate in a fast-paced environment
- Capable of working well in a diverse, multi-disciplinary team and successfully interacting with others at all levels of the organization, including remote teams
- Beginning skills in documenting and analyzing business processes
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills, and effective presentation skills
- Ability to plan and facilitate meetings with diverse participants
- Ability to maintain a professional attitude and demeanor in both normal and pressure situations
- Proven skills in problem solving
- High School degree or equivalent relevant certification in healthcare, business management or information systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Practical experience in a specific area of healthcare operations, Healthcare research or Healthcare teaching desired
- Associates degree or equivalent relevant certification in healthcare, business management or information systems

Compensation & Benefits Overview
UChicago Medicine is committed to transparency in compensation and benefits. The pay range provided reflects the anticipated wage or salary reasonably expected to be offered for the position.
The pay range is based on a full-time equivalent (1.0 FTE) and is reflective of current market data, reviewed on an annual basis. Compensation offered at the time of hire will vary based on candidate qualifications and experience and organizational considerations, such as internal equity. Pay ranges for employees subject to Collective Bargaining Agreements are negotiated by the medical center and their respective union.
