Position Summary
Do you enjoy warehouse work? Do you also like to travel? Typically, those two don't go together, but at Securis, you will have the opportunity to take your warehouse skills on the road regularly! We are hiring *multiple* individuals to be a part of our growing and innovative warehouse travel team.
As often as once a month, Disassembly Technicians process electronic recycling materials at client sites across the country. Travel jobs come with additional pay and perks: a 25% increase to base hourly rate (select travel jobs only), company-paid accommodations and per diem for food and incidentals! When they are not away on travel jobs, Technicians process materials at our new warehouse in Chantilly. The ideal candidate is a team player who has a positive attitude and is able to lift up to 50 lbs. **May be required to be a US citizen in order to access all customer sites.** This position is full-time, with a Monday-Friday, 7am-3:30pm schedule. One Saturday per month may be required and is an overtime opportunity.

Responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Must be able to travel at least up to one week each month.
- Must be able to lift heavy weight and stand for long periods of time.
- Uses electronic scanning equipment to log equipment into Securis' proprietary inventory system.
- Operates equipment that destroys hard drives and computer tapes.
- Assists in the activities of the warehouse staff to ensure a positive and efficient work experience.
- Processes equipment, which includes the manual disassembly of electronic equipment, sorting, and putting those components in a specified container.
- Maintains the cleanliness and overall appearance of the warehouse.
- Handles the delivery and shipping of a multitude of goods.
- Operates a pallet jack including building and maneuvering boxes on pallets.
- Uses an industrial scale to weigh and label volumes of scrap material.
- Maintains the physical security protocols we have in place and ensures others follow said protocols.
- Maintains the operating condition of all warehouse tools and machinery used to execute primary functions.

- Metal destruction machine (baler or similar)
- Hand tools
- Bulb Eater machine
Experience
One to two years related experience and/or training; ability to operate a baler machine is a plus.
Computer Skills
To perform the job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of basic software like Microsoft.
Educational Background
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
