POSITION SUMMARY: The Disability, Mental Health Assistant will work directly with students with significant developmental delays as well as social/e...A bachelor’s degree in psychology, or a related field from an accredited College or University. Certification by the Wisconsin Department of Instruction will be expected. Previous experience implementing curriculum and working with children is preferred. Must maintain high professional and ethical standards, especially when dealing with confidential or sensitive information. Must have strong listening, writing, and oral communication skills. Being conversational or fluent in Spanish is seen as an advantage.
Working Conditions:
This position is in an office environment where the noise level can be low to moderate. May have to work longer hours due to meeting with parents and students before and after school. Must be able to sit for long periods, stand, and walk up and down stairs. Reasonable accommodations may be made to help perform essential functions.
