About the Role
The Director, Website Merchandising leads the merchandising strategy and execution for the direct to customer channel to drive sales, profit and engagement goals. You are responsible for product discovery and creating an easy, inspiring shopping experience. You will own the site merchandising strategy, launch new site features, and collaborate with marketing to ensure big ideas and content strategy are cutting through.

- 5+ years of Merchandising, eCommerce or Marketing experience
- Excellent project management skills
- Strong affinity for the product and the Pottery Barn brand
- Proven analytical and business planning skills
- Able to make timely decisions, anticipate problems, and provide creative solutions
- Well-organized and detail-oriented
- Able to deal with ambiguity and a changing environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong quantitative skills
- Highly curious
- Bachelor's Degree required
- Ability to perform work onsite in the San Francisco office full-time pending state, local, and Company return-to-work guidance during and after the COVID-19 pandemic.
Update Technical Competencies
- Experience creating engaging PowerPoint presentations
- Intermediate Excel skills (working knowledge with pivot tables and v-lookups)

The expected starting pay range for this position is $176,000 - $188,000 annually. Applicable pay ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. In addition to competitive pay, compensation may include a variety of other components like benefits, paid time off, merit, and bonus opportunities.
