For more information, visit www.eyecare-partners.com. Job Summary This position is part of Finance and reports to the Vice President of Tax. The Tax Director is responsible for overseeing all outsourced income tax compliance and tax planning functions for the Company. The Director is also responsible for researching and interpreting tax laws in all jurisdictions in which the Company operates or intends to operate to comply with the laws of the jurisdictions and to aid in overall tax planning for the Company. Duties include supervising staff and developing processes and internal controls; reviewing federal, state, and local corporate and partnership income tax returns, quarterly estimated payments Requirements Bachelor's degree (Accounting), Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred 5+ years experience in industry or public accounting preparing / reviewing corporate and partnership income tax returns Detail oriented, professional attitude, reliable Management and organizational skills to support the leadership of this function Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills Ability to pull and analyze large data sets Specialty knowledge of systems relating to job function Proficiency in using general ledger systems; SAP preferred Familiarity with tax compliance systems Research experience in state, local, and federal tax Experience managing outsourced providers Supervisory Responsibilities: Directly supervises team members within the Finance-Tax function. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
