What Product/team you’ll be working on: Ads Plus
We seek a data-driven and resourceful Director Programmatic CTV Partnerships (Supply-Side/SSP) player/coach to lead our Monetization development efforts with existing Amagi SaaS partners and new prospective clients, primarily top-tier content and media owners. This is a hands-on position responsible for owning a revenue center. Our platform sits at the center of an extensive OTT advertising ecosystem. You will be responsible for creating strategic partnerships among key stakeholders to ensure successful annual revenue goals and long-term growth. You will deeply understand the programmatic OTT/streaming ad tech industry, including ad ops, understand customer needs, and leverage qualitative and quantitative data to support feature prioritization and positioning. You will work closely with internal Amagi teams to ensure your portfolio scales and achieves its revenue objectives. The position requires sales and account management competency and experience with advertising technologies and yield management. Reporting directly to the SVP is highly influential, combining strategic planning, business management, internal communications, and cross-functional initiatives.
We seek a data-driven, hyper-organized and structured Director/VP CTV Inventory & Supply Partnerships. We are looking for a player/coach to lead our CTV inventory acquisition & marketplace development efforts with existing Amagi SaaS partners (studios, broadcast networks, premium content publishers, streaming services, etc.), AVOD & SVOD prospects, and other strategic prospective clients, -primarily top-tier content and media owners. This is a hands-on position responsible for owning a revenue center. Our platform sits at the center of an extensive OTT advertising ecosystem. You will be responsible for creating strategic partnerships among key stakeholders to ensure successful annual revenue goals and long-term growth. You will deeply understand the programmatic OTT/streaming ad tech industry, including ad ops, understand customer needs, and leverage qualitative and quantitative data to support feature prioritization and positioning. You will work closely with leadership and cross-functional Amagi teams to ensure your inventory portfolio scales, channels onboard & launch, and new paths to inventory are created through branded channels & agency-driven avenues to achieve revenue objectives. The position requires sales ideal customer profile creation, research and targeting, pipeline rigor, business development/deal-making, relationship management, and operational excellence. The perfect candidate will also have more than just account management competency but experience with advertising technologies, audience segmentation, content/IP windowing, and overall advertising yield management. Reporting directly to the EVP & GM, this role is highly influential, combining strategic planning, business management, structured financial thinking, internal communications, and cross-functional initiatives & execution.
What's Expected from you (Job Responsibilities)
- Ability to create a multi-year supply acquisition strategy and Ideal Customer Profile/s (IDC) for key CTV segments leveraging the Amagi suite of upstream CTV products & data (Playout, SSAI, Programming, etc.)
- Experience with pipeline creation, forecasting, and overall revenue goal attainment/management with a high attention to detail & reporting rigor. (SalesForce, etc.)
- Professional excellence in presentation skills and storytelling, including ability and experience building narratives & sales collateral to drive prospecting for supply acquisition.
- Strong executive presence and ability to consult senior leadership & C-level stakeholders internally and with clients & prospects.
- Experience working with product & operations teams to automate internal processes to drive your strategy and to surface opportunities for new products from CTV supply customers.
- Identify and evangelize any technical issues to the internal Amagi team and shepherd them to resolution. Examples include issues with supply set-up, reporting inquiries, new ad innovations/units & inventory, and general monetization issues.
- Unmatched experience working “across the aisle” with cross-functional teams to drive a multi-product GTM.
- Drive critical initiatives across a defined book of business to ensure accounts are optimized and transacting to their full potential.
- Proactive communication with sell-side clients to deliver updates, including performance insights, optimization feedback, and suggestions for driving revenue
- Identify and evangelize any technical issues to the internal Amagi team and shepherd them to resolution. Examples include issues with supply set-up, reporting inquiries, new ad innovations/units & inventory, and general monetization issues.
- Represent and promote Amagi at industry events, including hot desking sessions, QBRs, product overview sessions, etc., to grow visibility and public profile.
- Enable the onboarding of new Ads Plus clients and supply into Amagi inventory pools and enable demand
- Collaborate with internal teams to implement best practices, identify market trends, and proactively communicate market feedback to the product team.
- Understand the rapidly evolving CTV/OTT advertising ecosystem to unearth new ideas/opportunities to guide the company’s growth and end-to-end monetization strategy
Requirements
Qualifications & experiences must Include;
- 5+ years of management experience in CTV, supply/inventory acquisition, CTV ad operations, or CTV ad tech
- 2+ years experience and a deep understanding of CTV ad tech/ad operations and the specifications, parameters, and macros needed to make CTV supply commercial to programmatic buyers.
- Ability to scale partnerships globally or experience working in another region, including EU and/or LatAm.
- Demonstrated accountability/ownership through every stage of client business: prospecting, presenting, negotiating, and closing
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong work ethic and “get it done” approach
- Demonstrated data-driven thinking with excellent quantitative, analytical, and operational skills.
- You have a proven ability to effectively negotiate in client relationships and maximize partner resources to accomplish objectives and solve issues
- You have experience working with streaming media and F.A.S.T publishers to develop and support their monetization strategies
- Perfect Candidate: 1+ years of experience working in, or adjacent to, the CTV SaaS industry. (cloud playout, SSAI, etc.)
