Job Description-
Role: Director - Service Delivery Management
Qualifications:
- Senior level stakeholder management skills with significant background in Financial Services, previous experience supporting applications in Capital Markets, Banking and/or Insurance
- 15+ years experience supporting applications running in Unix environments and Windows environments, experience working directly with CIO s and senior business stakeholders
- 7 years of leadership experience leading large production support globally distributed teams
- Agile Software development, and experience in development projects
- Excellent Communication and Interpersonal skills (Written and Verbal)
- Flexible approach to working hours and responsibilities
- Self-driven and with an ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Familiar with risk-based decision-making and escalations
- Previous Technology experience across technologies (Java, .Net, Oracle, Multiple Databases, Middleware)
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Access, and Project) skills
Responsibilities:
- Senior Service Delivery Director responsible for a globally distributed application support team
- Instrumental in driving performance and improving production stability
- Requirement to be primary face off to CIO s and senior business stakeholders
- Continually improve IT services and ensure team takes a structured and proactive approach to resolving technology problems
- Drive Best Practices among the global application teams as well as CTB (release / change management)
- Ensure compliance with all relevant internal instructions (SOX, circulars) and external regulatory requirements, including the management of operational risk
- Participate in the development of and effectively maintain the Incident management process
- Involvement in managing an agile development process (from a production perspective and run the bank)
