Position Summary:
The Director Sales (MidWest) will be responsible for securing new business and maintaining relationships on both a regional and national level. This individual will be hyper focused on driving revenue and will have a passion for brand partnerships, live music and entertainment while being an innovative and forward-thinking leader. The Director Sales will continue to position AEG at the forefront of live entertainment, and effectively win business through outreach, RFPs and relationships.
Essential Functions:
- Identify new prospects that result in driving revenue for assigned properties across MidWest region.
- Strengthen relationships with current partners driving them to year over year renewals across assigned properties.
- Oversee the development of client proposals/decks, sales and contract negotiations through to close new or renewed business.
- Manage and develop complex-targeting sponsorship plans to address clients’ strategic objectives and meet the Company’s needs.
- Consult with festival and venue management on strategy & ideation to development new revenue streams.
RequiredQualifications:
- BA/BS Degree (4-year)
- 6-8 years of related experience.
- Demonstrated sales experience.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build and cultivate relationships.
- Expertise in identifying opportunities, developing strategies and negotiating creative solutions.
- Exemplary problem-solving, communication and presentation skills
- Ability to synergize the efforts of individuals and teams to accomplish the goals of the company.
- Knowledge of advertising and marketing concepts and initiatives
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Excel, Word), and ability to learn required business systems, strong business acumen with demonstrated leadership abilities.
- Passion for music and live entertainment preferred.
