Founded in 1995, Rx Monitoring Services, Inc has turned power quality monitoring into a service business by designing and patenting the Cx Monitor and recently tied it with our intelligent SIGMA load bank control system for the development of Commissioning Automation tools. In June of 2022, Avtron Power Solutions acquired RxMS in order to strengthen the offerings to critical power customers.
Founded in 1953 Avtron has a long history of manufacturing market leading power test solutions. Now with a global footprint and sales into some of the largest industrial projects, Avtron will continue to push the envelope of what is possible in the electrical test environment. Avtron Power Solutions manufacture and distribute market leading load bank solutions for mission critical applications. We have the largest portfolio in the industry and can meet the highest load testing standards with our intelligent SIGMA load bank control system.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Director is responsible for identifying building and maintaining relationships with clients, managing and overseeing the report writing team and reviewing the power quality reports with clients, managing the Business Development team, and driving revenue growth. This role involves working closely with the RxMS customers to review the technical reports and prescribe an unbiased solution. It also requires us to work with the Avtron sales and marketing teams to develop strategies that align with the company's goals. This position will also provide strong support to the President of the RxMS division of Avtron.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Essential Functions:
- Support and oversee the technical writers by reviewing the reports and preparing the customer for report review
- Building and maintaining relationships with clients.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop strategies for growth
- Coordinate activities between internal and external departments within Avtron
- Manage Business Development Team
- Meet or exceed sales targets. Develop corrective actions as needed to ensure budget is achieved.
- Support the Mission, Vision, Values and Behavioral Expectations of Avtron Power Solutions.
- Support the integration of RxMS Division into Avtron’s core business.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
- Assist sales and field service with technical support
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
7 years working within the power quality sector.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:
Education:
Bachelor's degree (preferably EE or comparable) or >7 yrs working within the power quality or data center industry
Skills
- Solid understanding of Electrical Engineering
- Knowledge of NEC
Experience
7 yrs working experience
COMPUTER SKILLS:
Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams)
