Position Overview
As the Director of Property Management, you'll lead a team of Regional Managers within our Student Housing portfolio. Your role is pivotal in ensuring effective execution of strategies and business plans for each asset, driving operational and financial success while upholding our core values.
What You'll Do
Leadership and Management:
- Provide strategic leadership and oversight to property management teams.
- Implement policies and procedures for efficient property operations.
- Mentor and develop Regional Managers and Property Managers.
- Ensure adequate staffing levels within your portfolio.
Operational Excellence:
- Maintain properties to high standards.
- Implement best practices for operations and resident services.
- Oversee technology adoption for property management.
Financial Management:
- Develop and manage annual budgets.
- Monitor financial performance and implement improvement strategies.
Resident Experience:
- Drive resident satisfaction through exceptional service.
- Develop community engagement programs.
- Address resident concerns promptly and professionally.
Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.
- Manage property safety, security, and emergency preparedness.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections.
Marketing and Leasing:
- Develop and execute effective marketing strategies.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and leasing activities.
Training and Development:
- Conduct regular training sessions.
- Collaborate with other departments for critical projects.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning.
Requirements

Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum seven years of Property Management experience.
- At least five years in a Regional Manager role or higher.
- Experience in Student Housing preferred.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred; alternatively, 10 years of relevant experience.

- Reports to: Senior Managing Director of Operations
- Direct Reports: Regional Managers
