7.1. Ten years of experience in developing and maintain detailed project plans (including work breakdown structures). 7.2. Ten years of experience in meeting facilitation and documentation. 7.3. Ten years of experience creating and presenting internal and external status reports and detailedstatus reports suitable for presentation to the Legislature or Steering Committee. 7.4. Ten years of experience with Budget and Financial Management including Cost Analysis/ Cost Benefits. 7.5. Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification and five years of experience leading and managing projects. 7.6. Risk Management: 7.6.1 Five years of experience with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) methodologies and documentation. 7.6.2 Five years of experience with risk tracking, mitigation and issue tracking. 7.6.3 Five years of experience using Microsoft Project or comparable project management software to track and maintain projects. 7.6.4 Project Deployment: 7.6.4.1. Five years of experience in leading project teams and effectively conducting the project to meet project objectives. 7.6.4.2. Five years of experience in delivering the project in the agreed schedule, to the correct technical specification (i.e., defined to meet user requirements) within the approved budget and other specified criteria.
Responsibilities:
8.1.1. Provide project management for all technical projects following Department information system development methodology, Secure Application Lifecycle Management policy and procedure and project management practices as detailed in the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) and the Department Project Management Office (PMO) as assigned by the Department. 8.1.2. Create, maintain and refine detailed project plans (including work breakdown structures), tracking project schedules and technical performance and leading both the business and technical teams as assigned by the Department. 8.1.3. Assist with the allocation of resources as assigned by the Department. 8.1.4. Coordinate interaction with the customers, users and stakeholders and to keep the project team focused on the right goals as assigned by the Department. 8.1.5. Follow a standard set of practices that ensure the integrity and quality of project artifacts as assigned by the Department. 8.1.6. Develop and maintain project plans and tasks assigned to technical teams and users as assigned by the Department. 8.1.7. Provide research and analytical services for systems as assigned by the Department. 8.1.8. Meet with the program offices to collect user requirements for new systems, or enhancements to existing systems as assigned by the Department. 8.1.9. Develop screen layouts for new systems, or enhancements to existing systems as assigned by the Department. 8.1.10. Develop work estimates for system enhancements or new development as assigned by the Department. 8.1.11. Coordinate system acceptance testing with program offices as assigned by the Department. 8.1.12. Develop documentation as assigned by the Department, e.g., diagrams, flow charts. 8.1.13. Perform testing on system changes to meet user-defined requirements as assigned by the Department. 8.1.14. Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) with the business program staff as assigned by the Department. 8.1.15. Provide management with system status as requested as assigned by the Department. 8.1.16. Produce detailed accounting of hours worked by tasks as assigned by the Department. 8.1.17. Facilitate meetings with technical and program staff as assigned by the Department (e.g., scheduling meetings, document decisions, identify issues and action items). 8.1.18. Produce work estimates to implement user-defined requirements and system changes asassigned by the Department. 8.1.19. Produce status reports on the implementation of user-defined requirements as assigned by the Department. 8.1.20. Provide analytical services on Department IT processes to identify operational efficiencies as assigned by the Department. 8.1.21. Provide analytical research to satisfy queries requested by the Legislature and Department management as assigned by the Department. 8.1.22. Follow Department IT processes and coordinate with other Department IT staff to ensure compliance with Department standards as assigned by the Department. 8.1.23. Correspond (verbally and in written formats) with project teams, internal stakeholders regarding project activities, deliverables, and status as assigned by the Department.
