About the team

Come join us as a Director, Product Management in our North American Mobility Product team to define our bold vision and key priorities to deliver experiences that delight customers and win in the market.

As a key member of the North American Mobility Leadership team, you will partner closely with Commercial, Operational, and Technology to own and drive our North American Mobility end-to-end experiences. In this role, you will be accountable for creating an integrated product vision and strategy to drive high-value business outcomes by solving our customers’ major pain points. You will manage a team of product managers that will manage, define, and deliver these end-to-end experiences.

How You'll Make an Impact

1. Lead, inspire and empower a team of at least five talented product managers to define innovative experiences that delight our customers and win in the market.
2. Work closely with cross-functional leaders to define the vision, strategy, and multi-quarter roadmap to inspire and align key stakeholders and customers, leveraging a deep understanding of customer needs, the external market, technology, and competitors.
3. Deliver an awesome end-to-end customer experience for our North American Mobility product lines, using qualitative and quantitative data to identify areas to improve and rapidly iterate.
4. Leverage strong business acumen and partnership across WEX to define how we go to market and serve our customers, including business model innovation, pricing, first use, cross-sell and support.
5. Encourage a culture of experimentation, learning, and a growth mindset - creating an environment where teams are redefining what’s possible and challenging the status quo.
6. Lead product prioritization processes across the organization and role model making hard tradeoffs to ensure we deliver products that solve the biggest customer problem, strong market position and generate durable business benefits (revenues, adoption, retention, etc.).
7. Create a culture of transparency, trust and "challenge and commit" with teams you manage and partners.
8. Coach and inspire a team of at least five, providing them with actionable and timely feedback to help them grow and deliver great work.

Experience you’ll bring:

1. 12+ years of Product Manager experience in environments that embrace customer-driven innovation, rapid experimentation, data-driven decisions and results orientation.
2. Experienced in proven methodologies to develop great products, including customer-driven innovation, rapid experimentation, prototyping, product analytics and using OKRs to measure outcomes.
3. Proven track record of setting product strategy for a large portfolio and translating it into a product roadmap with excellent end-to-end execution.
4. Demonstrated success in creating a vision to inspire, prioritizing key deliverables, defining and building roadmaps, and managing internal and external commitments.
5. Strong technical acumen, with an ability to understand how data, technology and common capabilities can enable your strategy and vision.
6. Strong financial acumen, analytical and problem-solving skills.
7. Ability to partner well cross-functionally, especially with engineering and marketing and risk.
8. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as the ability to influence key stakeholders.
9. Experience building global ready or international offerings a plus.
10. Undergraduate degree required, an advanced degree is a plus.

The base pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position. Actual pay rates will vary and will be based on various factors, such as your qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Base pay is one component of WEX's total compensation package. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable plan. Non-sales roles are typically eligible for a quarterly or annual bonus based on their role and applicable plan.
