About the Job
Healthfirst seeks a Director of Organizational Design. This person will contribute to our business growth and effectiveness by defining a set of organizational design tools and methods and using them to lead and implement Healthfirst’s organizational design initiatives. Planning and implementation of the organizational design work will be done in deep collaboration with senior leaders and HRBPs. This high-profile role reports to the VP Organizational Development and works closely with senior leaders across the organization.
The core of this position is ensuring Healthfirst has the right structures, processes, skills, and environment to cost-effectively deliver our business strategy. The Director is accountable for the planning and execution of organizational design initiatives at business unit, function, and team levels.
In general, the Director of Organizational Design will lead large-scale projects, programs, or initiatives, ensuring alignment with business needs and the timely implementation of practical content and materials focused on end-user experience, and in collaboration with a variety of internal and external partners.
Duties and Responsibilities
+ Primary designer and lead on a variety of enterprise OD and OE initiatives with focused on organizational design.
+ Develop the enterprise approach, frameworks, and tools informed by proven, science-based methods, with a bias for efficient, simple, user-friendly output and communications.
+ Promote and facilitate the use of proven organization design methods, processes and tools across the organization while building these skills in leaders and HR business partners.
+ Ensure alignment and integration of organization design and effectiveness strategies, projects and programs for successful implementation and results.
+ Create assessments and measure the impact of initiatives, leading to continuous improvement.
+ Act as a collaborative internal consultant and subject matter expert.
+ Identify root causes of individual/team/organizational needs using qualitative and quantitative information and scientific methods.
+ Recommend proven, research-based solutions which increase organizational effectiveness and efficiency.
+ Implement solutions by partnering with and influencing senior leaders, HR colleagues, and external vendors as needed.
+ Align and collaborate with senior HR business partners to diagnose organizational and team needs, then design and implement initiatives/projects aimed at increasing individual, team, or organizational effectiveness.
+ Ensure belonging, equity, and inclusion is input and output in all work.
+ Actively participate in external/internal networks and research to remain current with research, new technology, innovations, and emerging industry talent.
+ Keep developing your expertise, and freely and generously develop those around you with interest in your field.
+ Identify and collaborate with external vendors and partners as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
+ 7+ years of experience in organizational design.
+ Substantial experience leading complex, enterprise-wide initiatives and the development and implementation of impactful OD/OE interventions.
+ S cience and research-based knowledge in a variety of topics related to Organizational Development and Organizational Effectiveness.
+ Strong facilitation, consulting, and influence skills across a variety of audiences.
+ Exceptional verbal and written communications and content: concise, clear, simple, visually appealing.
+ Proven ability to manage and collaborate with senior stakeholders and across HR.
Preferred Qualifications
+ Experience in multiple areas for example, organizational culture change, performance management, talent and succession planning, diversity-equity-inclusion, and selection assessments.

Hiring Range*:
+ Greater New York City Area (NY, NJ, CT residents): $150,800 - $230,690
+ All Other Locations (within approved locations): $124,400 - $190,315
As a candidate for this position, your salary and related elements of compensation will be contingent upon your work experience, education, licenses and certifications, and any other factors Healthfirst deems pertinent to the hiring decision.
