We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled individual to join our team as a Permanent Director of Valuation. This is a critical role within our organization where you'll be responsible for overseeing and managing valuation engagements for clients across various industries. You'll be tasked with developing and implementing valuation methodologies and approaches in accordance with industry standards and regulations. This role requires a deep understanding of financial modeling, industry research, and valuation techniques. Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and manage valuation engagements for clients across various industries.
2. Develop and implement valuation methodologies and approaches in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
3. Lead client meetings and presentations to discuss valuation findings, methodologies, and conclusions.
4. Provide guidance and training to junior staff members on valuation techniques, financial modeling, and industry research.
5. Collaborate with other departments such as audit, tax, and advisory to integrate valuation services into comprehensive client solutions.
6. Conduct due diligence reviews and financial analysis to support valuation assessments.
7. Stay abreast of regulatory changes, industry trends, and best practices in valuation methodologies.
8. Serve as a subject matter expert in valuation matters, including fair value measurements, purchase price allocations, and impairment testing.
9. Build and maintain relationships with clients, identifying opportunities for additional valuation services and cross-selling other firm services.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the finance industry.
2. Proven experience in overseeing and managing valuation engagements.
3. In-depth knowledge of valuation methodologies and approaches in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
4. Excellent financial modeling and industry research skills.
5. Experience in leading client meetings and presentations.
6. Ability to provide guidance and training to junior staff members.
7. Strong collaboration skills and experience in working with other departments such as audit, tax, and advisory.
8. Proven experience in conducting due diligence reviews and financial analysis.
9. Up-to-date knowledge of regulatory changes, industry trends, and best practices in valuation methodologies.
10. Expertise in valuation matters, including fair value measurements, purchase price allocations, and impairment testing.
11. Strong relationship-building skills and experience in identifying opportunities for additional valuation services and cross-selling.
