Head of Business Development to lead and scale the adoption of Our Client's solutions in Data Centers and Telecom/5G. Come join our team and be at the forefront of what we believe is the perfect blend of career opportunity, innovative technology, and top-tier enablement! High-tech sales leader needed in North America to help our customers be more productive while still providing all the capabilities needed to meet the most complex requirements at any scale.
What You Will Bring:
Proven experience developing and expanding software consulting services at scale -- must be in data centers, high-tech, telecommunications, and 5G
10+ Years of Consulting background and/or experience implementing IT and Physical Infrastructure Solutions to Data Center Owners/Providers across networking, containment, copper & fiber, low voltage, data migrations.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to distill complex subject matter to key points and communicate to multiple audiences effectively
C-Level relationship-building skills and the ability to impact change through influence
Proven ability to manage a P&L and optimize the business for profitability
Outstanding written, verbal, and presentation communication and negotiation skills
Analytical mind strong quantitative skills, ability to leverage data to convey critical insights
Comfort operating in rapidly changing environments and building for scale
Ability (and willingness) to travel as required (estimated 33%) to client sites to support sales opportunities and existing customer relationships
What Gives You an Edge:
Middleware or other infrastructure platform experience
Experience growing teams or operational experience at different sizes of companies, from startups to large enterprises
Overall, the ideal candidate for this role should have a strong track record of delivering high-quality professional services to enterprise customers while being a high performer. They should also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong project management skills, and a deep understanding of enterprise architecture. data and systems integration, and data stream processing markets.
What You Will Do:
Drive success with Professional Services customers across a regional customer base, serving as the point of escalation for key project deliveries
Manage the P&L of the business, as well as the overall impact the business has
Create and drive legal terms agreements for your customers. Engage with stakeholders across the customer organization from C-level / VP to Architects and program managers.
Build initial services direction, ensure customer success and satisfaction, and contribute to the account and regional growth plans
Build a great team and company. Help to develop strong relationships, capabilities, and collaboration among teams such as Business Development, Education, Sales, and Customer Success teams
Participate in Confluent product and sales strategy conversations through active feedback from customer implementations
Strengthen success across your customer base by developing strong delivery partner executive relationships and awareness of partner delivery capabilities
