Job Description: The Director of Training is primarily responsible for the clinical and administrative oversight of the APA-accredited Pre-doctoral Internship. The DoT ensures a trauma-informed, culturally competent, and positive learning environment for a comprehensive training experience. The DoT collaborates closely with the Clinical Director in attaining these goals. Minimum Requirements:Education: Ph.D. or Psy.D in Clinical PsychologyExperience: Community Mental Health and Supervisory experience preferredLicensure/Certifications: Must be a Licensed PsychologistClearances: Pennsylvania Child Abuse Clearance, Criminal clearance, and fingerprint-based federal criminal history; Verification that employee is not on any Medicaid/Medicare Exclusion list Note: At the discretion of the Personnel Officer, additional related experience and/or education may be substituted instead of the requirements specified under Education and ExperienceCompensation Package: Chimes-Holcomb offers a generous benefits package to all employees who work a minimum of 30 hours per week. Benefits are available on the first day of a new month after completing 30 days of employment. Health insurance, including a flexible spending account, medical, dental, and vision are included. - Making contacts with university and non-university agencies (local, state, regional, federal) for research and training experiences and for funding arrangements that may support graduate training; helping foster interagency contacts for traineeship experiences
- Maintain the agency's Pre-doctoral Psychology Internship Program
- Provide individual supervision to residents on various rotations (i.e.: Mental Health Outpatient, Mental Health Court, Child and Adolescent, Crisis, Drug and Alcohol)
- Facilitate case conference/peer supervision with residents
- Present didactic training for residents
- Conduct Monthly Internship Faculty Meetings
- Gathering and organizing program statistics
- Maintain a small (~5 clients) Mental Health Outpatient caseload and assist with Level of Care evaluations for ages 3-20 (~15 hours)
- Conduct chart reviews of various programs throughout the agency and present findings as part of the Clinical Performance Improvement Committee
- Conduct chart reviews of deceased clients as part of the Mortality and Morbidity Committee
- Conduct chart reviews of identified clients for In-Depth meetings
- Assist with additional tasks as requested
