Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a preventative maintenance program that minimizes downtime and enhances operational efficiency.
- Conduct regular system audits to identify potential issues and implement corrective measures.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues on various machines, including PLCs, motor controls, and pumps.
- Oversee the rebuilding and maintenance of pump systems.
- Collaborate with other departments to develop strategies for improving operational efficiency and reducing maintenance costs.
- Utilize predictive maintenance tools to forecast potential system failures and develop contingency plans.
- Train and mentor maintenance staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
- Utilize SAP systems for maintenance management and reporting.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 15 years of mechanical experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience in troubleshooting and repairing various machines, including PLCs, motor controls, and pumps.
- Expertise in predictive maintenance and the development of preventative maintenance programs.
- Strong knowledge of pump rebuilding and maintenance.
- Proficiency in SAP systems preferred.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and mentor staff.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A commitment to safety and a thorough understanding of safety regulations.
- A degree in mechanical engineering or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role in the finance industry.
