Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of technical accounting including monthly reporting, fixed assets, year-end close, and the preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Ensure compliance with SEC regulations including 10-Q, 10-K, and 10K report filings.
- Collaborate with top-tier accounting firms such as Ernst & Young, PricewaterhouseCoopers, and Deloitte on audit matters and advisory services.
- Develop and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard the company's assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Lead the accounting team in the execution of daily operations, ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of our financial data.
- Provide technical accounting guidance and support to various stakeholders within the organization.
- Stay updated on emerging accounting standards and regulations, and ensure the company's accounting policies and procedures are in line with these standards.
- Participate in strategic financial projects including financial system implementations, process improvements, and policy development.
Qualifications:
- Must hold a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license.
- A minimum of 10+ years of experience in a similar role with a CPA required.
- Extensive knowledge of GAAP, SEC regulations, and technical accounting standards.
- Experience with year-end close, monthly reporting, and fixed assets.
- Proven track record in auditing and maintaining internal controls.
- Prior experience working with or for top-tier accounting firms such as Ernst & Young, PricewaterhouseCoopers, and Deloitte.
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
- Advanced proficiency in financial reporting software and MS Office Suite.
