The Director of Talent Acquisition for Sales & Executive Recruitment is a pivotal role, responsible for driving talent acquisition strategies and processes to attract top-tier talent for Sales, Business development and Executive roles (VP and above) for GXO North America. This is a fully remote role and can be based anywhere in Continental US. The incumbent will work in an individual contributor capacity, will interface with senior stakeholders including Division Presidents and C-Suite executives, and manage the entire recruiting life cycle for roles assigned to them. This role reports to the Senior Director of Talent Acquisition for the Americas & APAC.

What you'll do on a typical day:
• Develop and implement innovative executive recruitment strategies to proactively identify and engage top-tier executive talent, leveraging market insights and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to assess organizational talent needs and develop executive talent pipelines to support succession planning and long-term growth objectives.
• Establish and monitor key performance metrics, including Time to Fill, quality of hire, and candidate satisfaction, to measure the effectiveness of executive recruitment efforts and drive continuous improvement.
• Stay abreast of market trends, competitive intelligence, and emerging technologies in executive recruitment to inform strategy development and maintain a competitive edge in talent acquisition.
• Manage recruiting for Sales and Business Development professionals across all levels (Manager to VP).
• Develop sourcing strategies to attract diverse candidates for sales roles, utilizing various channels and tools.
• Collaborate with HR business partners to streamline sales recruitment processes and enhance efficiency.
Stakeholder Management:
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders, including C-suite Executives and Division Presidents.
• Provide regular updates on recruitment activities, market trends, and talent pipeline status.
• Act as a trusted advisor to leadership on talent acquisition strategies and best practices.
What you need to succeed at GXO:
At a minimum, you'll need:
• Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in talent acquisition, focusing on executive recruitment and sales/business development roles
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and effectively.
• Proven strategic thinking abilities, with the capacity to develop and execute comprehensive recruitment strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
• Expertise in recruitment and search methodologies, including direct sourcing, networking, and leveraging technology platforms.
• Strong leadership skills, capable of inspiring and motivating others around them to achieve performance targets and deliver high-quality results.
• Excellent negotiation skills, adept at managing offer processes and compensation discussions to secure top talent within budgetary constraints.
• Deep understanding of recruitment trends, market dynamics, and emerging best practices.
• Active presence on social media and professional networking platforms, particularly LinkedIn, to build relationships and attract passive candidates.
• Ability to analyze recruitment metrics and data to derive insights and inform decision-making.
• Collaborative mindset, with the ability to partner closely with internal stakeholders to understand talent needs and deliver tailored recruitment solutions.
• Recruiting experience with a Supply Chain or 3rd party logistics firm is highly desirable
