Job Details
- Lead procurement management activities, encompassing strategic purchasing and inventory tasks, from purchase order execution to sourcing necessary resources for company operations.
- Provide effective leadership and oversight for Warehouse and Procurement departments, focusing on performance management, skills development, and adherence to policies and procedures.
- Develop and implement monthly forecasting, sales trend analysis, and marketing initiatives to support Supply Chain Activities, while also sourcing alternative materials for risk mitigation and managing freight carriers and contracts.
- Identify alternative sources for primary materials to mitigate risks in the supply chain.
Manage and oversee all aspects of freight carriers, including quarterly contracts and general oversight.
- Ensure compliance with process, policies, and procedures across departments and adhere to organizational guidelines and regulations.
- Develop and manage Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to supply chain performance.
Establish and enforce ethical buying practices in alignment with the Greiner Code of Conduct and relevant laws and regulations.
- Direct and coordinate daily and long-term strategic activities for timely planning and procurement to meet business demand.
- Implement planning and procurement systems, including rigorous supplier selection processes and timely evaluation and feedback mechanisms for continuous improvement.
- Generate monthly status reports to communicate project progress against plans and budgets to management.
- Coordinate closely with production, scheduling, and auxiliary departments to ensure smooth production and delivery processes.
- Assess departmental performance, identify weaknesses, and implement operational changes to optimize the flow of goods.
- Evaluate internal performance across procurement, logistics, and warehouse functions to drive continuous improvement with effective leadership.
Qualifications:
- 4 years of procurement management experience
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment
- 3 years of management experience in logistics and warehouse.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Logistics Management, Manufacturing Operations, Industrial Engineering or related fields
- 4 years of experience with an ERP system; SAP experience is preferred
