Occupational Summary:
The Director of Student Success will oversee all functions of the Student Success Center including, but not limited to: student advising, budget management, departmental scheduling logistics, supervision of professional and student staff, staff development, and strategic planning. This position will serve as the Title IX Coordinator for the university and the Primary Designated School Official (PDSO). The individual in this role will be required to represent the Student Success Center through cross-campus collaborations. Additionally, this individual will carry an advising load along with the rest of the Student Success Center staff.

Essential Job Duties:
- Provide oversight for all professional and student staff employed by the Student Success Center, Library and Teaching and Learning Center.
- Oversee the library and student success center space to increase student engagement and student success.
- Lead the CREDO initiative and work with the retention committee and cabinet to ensure alignment of retention efforts.
- Serve as the Primary Designated School Official (PDSO) to ensure proper compliance with all international student processes.
- Act as the Title IX Coordinator for the institution, coordinate all TIX cases, and ensure proper compliance with all TIX laws.
- Engage with campus partners to foster ongoing strategic planning with a focus on objectives related to student success and growth.
- Collaborate with faculty on student support related to curricular initiatives such as Traditions and Transitions, and Navigator.
- Maintain all budget lines for Student Success Center operations.
- Promote the Center's services to increase its participation and visibility on campus and oversee the accuracy of the Center's webpages.
- Implement best practices for academic support and student services.
- Assist with the implementation of any student success related grants.
- Assist the university with retention initiatives.
- Provide specific hours of the Center in rotation with other personnel.
- Cooperate in delivery of other Center operations to ensure appropriate services are available.
Other Responsibilities
- Project a professional, positive, and supportive attitude to students, staff, faculty, and visitors.
- Support and participate in campus community activities.
- Attend conferences and workshops, as authorized, for professional development.
- Serve on university committees, as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Master's degree is required.
- Demonstrated commitment to student success with professional experience in student support services strongly preferred.
- Possess strong customer service skills and the ability to collaborate across departments.
- Experience working with Microsoft Office and a willingness to learn new software programs; experience with student information systems preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain flexibility with student and university schedules to accommodate office hours and staff schedules.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
