United Hebrew of New Rochelle is conducting a search for an experienced Licensed Social Worker to oversee our Social Services division as the Director at our skilled nursing facility. The Director of Social Services provides departmental oversight, clinical education, and administrative supervision to encompass regulatory guidance for patient care, patient and family education, clinical leadership and management of the Social Work staff.

Position Overview:
In this high-profile role working alongside with caring, dedicated, and experienced senior leadership, the Director of Social Services oversees the clinical and departmental practices and standards while working collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team of care to lead and facilitate the delivery of social services to the residents and patients of United Hebrew of New Rochelle.

Qualifications:
Although not all inclusive, these are the key attributes we are seeking:
- New York State Social Worker License (LMSW or LCSW)
- Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited program
- 5+ years of social work experience; prior experience working in a skilled nursing facility strongly preferred
- At least three years of demonstrated leadership experience
- Knowledgeable in Medicare and Medicaid regulations
- Demonstrate leadership ability, lead teams, empower staff; organized and detail-oriented
- Manages interruptions to triage resident care priorities and changing situations
- Communicates effectively and works well with others, is cooperative and helpful
- Delegates well and respects others
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19
