Director of Social Services LBSW or LMSW/ LCSW, LCSWC Preferred. - Hyattsville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center

Director of Social Services ( $5,000.00 Sign on Bonus) 

Full-time

Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Demonstrates knowledge of age specific developmental factors specific to adult and geriatric residents (i.e. physical, cognitive, and socialization factors) in planning social services programs.
• Demonstrates knowledge, skills, and techniques necessary to plan social services programs for residents with the following needs: therapeutic, neurological and dementia, dialysis, IV therapy, and infectious diseases if applicable.
• Promptly follows-up on admission inquiries, evaluates and assesses the needs of prospective residents to determine appropriateness of facility placement

Qualifications:

• Experience as a Director of Social Work in a large LTC setting preferred
•  LBSW or LMSW/ LCSW, LCSWC preferred or Bachelors degree in related field
• At least one year experience in Social Work field required
