REPORTS TO: Director of Shelter

LOCATION: Family Shelter

CLASSIFICATION:  Full Time

EXEMPT/NONEX...QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION:

Licensed Clinical Social Worker

EXPERIENCE:

Minimum of 2 years as a supervisor in the field of social services preferred.

Working experience with individuals and knowledge of issues related to homelessness, HIV, substance use, mental illness, entitlements, and domestic violence.

SKILLS & ABILITIES:

Strong leadership/team building/coaching skills.

Excellent clinical skills.

Strong writing and speaking skills.

Excellent administrative skills; highly organized and detail oriented.

Strong time management; able to handle multiple tasks and assignments at once.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).

Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.

Sensitive to intersectionality, different cultures, housing equality and a demonstrated ability to work within a social/racial justice framework.

Knowledge of CARES system a plus.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

Crisis intervention skills.

Familiarity with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
